The primary focus of Bhagwan Jagannath Foundation is to eliminate the education and health disparity in rural India.
We also work on multiple other projects to uplift the rural India.
Bhagwan Jagannath Foundation is a non-profit that focuses on rural upliftment through multiple angles.
The priorities are education and healthcare because empirical data suggests that education and healthcare have the deepest and longest impact on a community.
Aligned with the Government’s vision in Education, Healthcare, Women Empowerment, Cow Rescue, Youth Empowerment and Disaster Relief, Bhagwan Jagannath Foundation aims to deliver measurable results to a large number of communities that belong to the Rural India.
We envision an India free from the Education and Health disparity so that each person has an equal opportunity for a bright and sustainable future.
We aim to form synergistic alliances with existing communities and organisations to realise our vision.
I once saw a man from my region lying paralyzed in the Doon Gov. hospital in Dehradun while his wife got mugged on her way back from the dispensary. He was in Dehradun, 145 KM away from his village because of poor health facilities. But looking at what happened to his wife, he said “I’d rather die in my home seeing my wife and kids than put my wife in danger”.
I could not help that man that day but the Bhagwan Jagannath Foundation has helped many people like that get cured while staying near their families because of our rural health facilities.
Mahant Yogi Laxmi, a social impact leader, founded the Bhagwan Jagannath Foundation, a non-profit that works towards uplifting rural India by alleviating the health and education disparity which he understands to be the root of the wealth gap in our country.
“My vision with the Bhagwan Jagganath Foundation is to form a synergistic environment that nurtures collaboration to tackle our country’s deep-rooted education and health problems alongside other rural challenges.
We deeply appreciate the work done by our government and aim to become a catalyst in the work to put India at the top for health and education standards.”
